"Lord, Shoot these Arrows Far!"

Arrows was born out of a simple prayer from a Christian parent: "Lord, shoot these arrows far!"

As Christ-followers trying to raise the next generation, there are times when it's easy, and times when we feel like we have no idea what we're doing!

Teaching our kids how to tie their shoes, eat a healthy breakfast, or get a good night's sleep are not so tough.

On the other hand, teaching them how to navigate the ever-changing times they are living in, with increased technological advances, information at their fingertips and a plethora of online friends and influencers ready to provide answers to questions we as parents don't even know they have...it can be overwhelming.

Yet, one thing most of us parents still have in common is the desire to raise our kids to become all that God has for them.

How do we help them to become salt and light, to shine like stars in a crooked generation, to love God with all their hearts, souls, minds, and all their strength...?

Only through God's guidance will we be the parents our children need. A simple prayer: Lord, shoot these arrows far!

Thankfully, God does not ask us to walk alone!

At Arrows, we have this same desire for the next generation:

• that they discover their God-given talents and abilities and cultivate them

• that they not be discouraged in their weaknesses, knowing how God's strength is made perfect in such situations.

• that they grow in the wisdom and knowledge of the Lord.

• that they hide His word in their hearts.

As confident, courageous Christ-followers, this next generation CAN grow up to "hit their mark" in the Lord.

Parents alone have the unique responsibility to raise their children up in the fear and knowledge of the Lord. At Arrows, we hope to come alongside you and partner with you in your efforts.
